Driving Directions

Bear Paw Lodge is located approximately 140 miles North of Thunder Bay, Ontario, near Wabakimi Provincial Park, the Albany River, and Ogoki Resevoir Areas. The closest town near us is Armstrong Station, Ontario, just at the end of Highway 527 North.

Thunder Bay is the closest major city to us. It has an international airport where you can rent a vehicle. There is also a service available that will transport you and your gear right to your cabin. Once you arrive in Thunder Bay, travel east on Hwy 11/17 for 2 miles. Then turn north on Hwy 527 and travel 140 miles until you reach the railroad tracks.

200 feet past the tracks turn left onto Trail Lake Rd. Follow it for 5 miles then turn right on Bear Paw Road. It's only another 2 miles and you are in camp.

Another option is to take the VIA Train right into Armstrong and we would be happy to pick you up and bring you into camp. Our bay can also accommodate light float planes.
